William Bumphus is an ex-offender. He has been arrested twenty-three times and has served four prison terms. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior while incarcerated on his last charge of burglary and theft and has been serving Jesus ever since.

He is married to Juanita for the past 42 years with five grown children and a bunch of grandkids and great grandchildren.

He has traveled and preached in over 560 prisons, jails, and youth facilities throughout the United States and two prisons in Lagos, Nigeria.

He established Jesus Inside Prison Ministry, Inc in 1981. 10 years later he established Jesus House.

Jesus House is a fifty bed Christian residential facility for just released Christian Prisoners or returning citizens.

William has appeared on numerous radio and Television programs including the TBN Network, the seven hundred Club and on the cover of Charisma Magazine.

He has authored eight books and has an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from Saint Thomas Christian College, Jacksonville, Florida.
